That’s how many new release albums I listened to in 2015.

That is one album a day DURING A LEAP YEAR.

That’s how much music I listened to.

If all that still seems rather abstract to you, let me break it down thusly: if there are 52 weeks in a year (which, more often than not, tends to be the case) then I spent, at bare minimum, two weeks just listening to albums.

And this is not two weeks in the sense of “80 hour work week; clock in, clock out, don’t spare the Whitesnake…”

No.

This is as if I, in the haze of a crystal meth binge, stayed up for two weeks straight (BARE MINIMUM) and literally did nothing except for listen to music.

Nobody ever asks me ‘Just how much music is too much music?’. But they really, really should…
